CHERU's first solo album is completed.
She spent one month in the small village located at the edge of Kanagawa Prefecture, where is rich in nature.
She kept singing every day and recorded 12 beautiful songs.
It is very hard to understand this unclear world.
CHERU tried to connect the past and the present.
Some songs were born when she was active as PoPoyans,
and some songs are just written in these several days.
This first solo album is completed for the first time in seven years after the PoPoyans days.
Her heart was moved by the things, creatures living in the forest, the wonderful short time between spring and summer, and a big star rising and shining in total darkness - things that are always there but just not noticing. The sound of her gut guitar and her voice resonated with each other, connecting with these invisible things.
These songs were crafted because of this time and place.
The new album titled " Omamori "
will be gently close to your heart when you take a step toward the future.
