Following on from the previous work, it is the second work the "Gazu Hyakkiyakō" series by Toriyama Sekien. This work, named "PART1[Yang]", was published as an edition in An-ei5 (1776), like its predecessor "PART1 [Yin]".
The selection of yokai included is not detailed, but it includes some yokai that are slightly minor than the previous work, perhaps due to the large number of 22 monsters. Also, perhaps because of the subtitle "Yang", one of the features is that the yokai named "~Fire" are listed together in the first half.
In addition, at the end of this work, yokai with names with "~ spirits" such as "living spirits", "dead spirits", "ghosts(bad spirits)", etc. are recorded, but in modern times "yokai" and "ghosts" are categorized as "different things", but the inclusion of "ghost" in the "yokai" bracket is also Toriyama Sekien's way of thinking, or whether it is a way of thinking that was generally circulated at the time, It seems that it will be an interesting research theme even if this part alone is taken up.
