  • asae morito

    Morito Asai is a singer-songwriter from Kumamoto. Raised by parents who were both skaters, he was exposed to hip-hop, soul, R&B, and other Black music genres since when he was a child. During his school years, he developed a deep passion for 90s alternative music and began composing songs while performing in a band with friends. Influenced by hip-hop sampling techniques, he incorporates these elements while emphasizing live instrumentation, creating a sound that spans multiple genres. His distinctively deep voice and literary lyrics add rich layers to his musical expression.
