OLDTIMER
OLDTIMER's second release of 2026 is the band's first-ever drum and bass track. More than just a heavy beat-driven song, it combines floating guitar textures and rich vocal harmonies to create a sound that is distinctly OLDTIMER, setting it apart from typical drum and bass music.
The track begins with a clear, delicate piano intro, followed by rough-edged beats and Lily's distant vocals, suggesting the start of a new story. As the song unfolds, layers of guitar and vocal harmonies spread across the soundscape, creating different scenes and emotions with each section.
This is one of the band's most dramatic and dynamic tracks to date.
Artist Profile
OLDTIMER
OLDTIMER is a Tokyo-based band that creates a genre-defying sound inspired by music from around the world. In 2024, the band shifted to a bass-less lineup, featuring two guitars, drums, and a mix of electronic elements such as synths, backing tracks, pads, and percussion. This hybrid setup allows them to combine organic and electronic sounds in a unique way. Their music is both introspective and powerful, crafted for large stages and open-air settings, connecting with audiences on a deeper level. In 2025, OLDTIMER released three consecutive singles. Looking ahead, they are set to release new material and host a self-produced live show in April 2026.
