2024年4月に78歳で天に召された詩画作家・星野富弘氏。20代半ばで事故による全身付随という大きなハンデを背負い、壮絶な人生を歩むことになった彼が、キリストに出会い生きる希望を見出し、口に筆を咥えて描くその詩画は、情緒豊かに、時にユーモアで、見るものの心を慰め、励まし、元気づけてくれる。 彼の召天を祈念し同年9月に開催されたメモリアルコンサートのために、彼が生涯最後に描いた詩画「生かされてーツワブキ」に竹下静がメロディを書き下ろし制作されたコラボレーション作品。
Artist Profile
Shizu Takeshita
A Japanese Gospel singer-songwriter. She was born into a pastor's family, grew up with music since she was a child, and started serving God as a church musician. She had majored in Vocal music at Tokyo Gakugei University, and started her career as a Gospel singer-songwriter soon after graduation. She released 6 CDs so far. Singing with a piano is her main style, she's been touring churches all over Japan as well as disaster relief concerts around Tohoku area (disaster area of The Great East Japan Earthquake) to spread God's unconditional Love and Hope. She also teaches Gospel choirs and classes, and direct them. Also, she has started a Gospel Duo "Lasting note" with Yuta Yamamoto, a Japanese Gospel pianist, released 2 CDs so far.
