Seiji Lakefield 通算5作目のアルバムは、「逆光の太陽」、「ざらついたフィルム」、「色褪せた色彩」のイメージで青春の一瞬の高揚感と、それが去った後の虚無を表現しています。
「サマー・オブ・ラヴ（Summer of Love）」という言葉自体は1967年のカウンターカルチャー運動を象徴する歴史的フレーズですが、
ここで求めているのは 、過ぎ去った1967年の再現ではなく、
“いつだってどこかにある、“ 誰かの中のサマーオブラヴ”を鳴らす ”
そんな想いをこのタイトルに込めました。
時代が変わっても、人は必ず何度でも熱狂を夢見る＿＿
今を生きている中での渇望を、シンプルで骨太な演奏で響かせる作品です。
