Yuka Kudo is a Tokyo-based jazz singer and singer-songwriter. She began her career as a jazz singer in 2001. Using jazz and bossa nova as her base, she sings about universal tales of everyday life. Her music sings of love between men and women, love for children, love for family, the changing of the seasons, and the preciousness of the ordinary things in life. Since 2003, she has recognized the importance of music through her work with children, the elderly, and local communities. After giving birth herself, she has continued to plan and organize concerts that bring together children from birth, under the theme of "Let's Listen to Jazz with Kids." She contributes to "developing listening skills" for children and helping adults "love children for who they are." She provides a space for empathy and prevents isolated parenting.
