<From liner notes>
Among the many live house jazz singers, jazz vocalist Mizusako Yoshikawa, who has gained a lot of support for her unique singing voice and her unique expressiveness, is her long-awaited. Completed the debut album. The title is "Whistle In My Ears", which is a mini-album of 6 songs, but the composition and sound of the songs are ambitious, and the results of many years of vocal training by Mizusako Yoshikawa are collected in a variety of ways. As you will notice immediately if you listen to it, the vocal instrument composition is centered on a duo with a famous guitarist named Tomoya Hara, first recording vocals and guitar at the same time, and then different types of guitars according to the taste of the song. The sound of various playing styles has been overdubbed.
The composition of the songs is diverse, and new pop jazz is added to the old and new standard songs, and the original song (Whistle In My Ears) composed by Tomoya Hara is also included in the English poetry. Yuma Hara, a new guitarist who is the son of Tomoya, also participated in this original work, adding various sounds such as bass and percussion.
Of course, Mizusako Yoshikawa has performed with many pianists at the live performance of Heisei, but this time she formed a duo with the famous guitarist Tomoya Hara, who has been close to her for many years, and received Hara's advice according to each song. I would like to rejoice that I have completed an expressive vocal that boldly corresponds to the solo play of outstanding guitar accompaniment.
