In 2022, Ring Ring Lonely Rollss, whose song ``Slow Time'', which was written as the theme song for the movie ``Hand'' after receiving an offer from movie director Daigo Matsui, became a hot topic, will be releasing a new song for the first time in about a year. release.

With my friend Kaito SAKUMA (ex. AMERICAN DREAM EXPRESS) as the recording engineer, this work was experimentally produced using only the minimum necessary equipment as an extension of play, and the work captures the joy of creating music as Ring Ring Lonely Rollss. It's filled with the joy of playing.

Ring Ring Lonely Rollss is scheduled to hold the sponsored event "MANIA" at Shimokitazawa BASEMENT BAR on October 26th.

Artist Profile

  • Ring Ring Lonely Rollss

Saitama / Tokyo / Chiba Japan Formed in 2015 by Motoki Osaka and Chika Mori. Ring Ring Lonely Rollss later expanded with guitarist Kenji Urano and bassist Yuta Yamamura. What began as a small local configuration quietly evolved into something harder to place. Their music resists easy categorization. It is restless and fluid yet emotionally precise. Osaka's lyrics move like fragments of memory resurfacing and cut deeper the longer they linger. The bands arrangements drift across genres without settling yet never feel unfocused. After their debut album Chemical in 2016 they stepped outside conventional industry structures. Their 2021 release I'm gla I was born caught the attention of filmmaker Daigo Matsui. This led to Slow Time written for his film The Hand and later included on A 1000 Dreams in 2022. Their third album But beautiful world released in 2025 further sharpened their presence. It feels less like a breakthrough and more like a slow burning confirmation. The record circulated quietly but persistently among musicians and filmmakers and gathered a kind of private acclaim. They occupy an unusual space. They are rarely listed yet often named when listeners are asked who matters most. Live that tension dissolves into something communal and almost euphoric. A sold out show at Shimokitazawa BASEMENT BAR in 2022 marked an early peak. Their 2025 one man at Shindaita FEVER suggested a band still expanding its orbit without fully stepping into the light. Unaffiliated with any clear scene Ring Ring Lonely Rollss continue to exist slightly out of frame. They are building a following that feels less like a fanbase and more like a quiet consensus among those who have found them.
