A collaboration between producer SKYTOPIA (ex-Kero Kero Bonito; member of the Japanese city pop band KOMONO LAKE) and MILK&SOUL (Tokyo based rapper who is currently a hot topic with his unique style), the single "Overpass" depicts the big city as a place where everything intersects, be it vehicles, people, information or emotions. SKYTOPIA's fluttering beats, influenced by IDM, Afrobeat, and Hyper Pop blend with MILK&SOUL's unique word choices, rhymes, and flows to create a powerful audio landscape. It represents an effort to redefine the boundaries of pop music by two up-and-coming artists who symbolize both Japanese electronic/dance music and the Japanese rap scene.
