The twilight descends like a heavy curtain

The forest holds its grip

I can't get away, even if I walk

I get lost deep in the forest

Where my steps disappear into the invisible

The mossy hollow pulls me down

The water surface distorts my face into a stranger

Twigs cling, memories bind

Steps lead to the kingdom of shadows

A whisper grows in the air

I don't know its source – only its weight

I get lost deep in the forest
