The essence of rock music from the 1970s onward, from indie rock, post-punk, guitar pop, and classic rock, is sublimated with a modern sensibility to create this album. The words and excellent songwriting, extracted over a period of five years without being tossed about by the fast-changing scene and trends, weave a reality for the generation that will live in the future. The band, which has always used English lyrics for all of its songs, has released an album with Japanese lyrics in order to convey its message more directly to people living in the same place and in the same time as them.
Strip Joint is a Japanese indie rock band, formed in 2017 and based in Tokyo until now. After more than 10 single and EP releases, the band released their first album "Give Me Liberty" on KiliKiliVilla in 2022. Musically, the band features lyrical songwriting by guitarist and vocalist Daiki Kishioka and a diverse sound by the six members, including trumpet and keyboards. 2017 Formed as Ceremony. After a change of members, the name was changed to Strip Joint in 2019. The band currently has six members: Daiki Kishioka (guitar and vocals), Aya Tominaga (keyboards), Momoka Amemiya (trumpet), Hiroyuki Nishida (drums), Rio Shimamoto (guitar and chorus), Kei Nakatsuka (bass) The band has six members.
