Shonan-born artist Umi Komachi will release her new single "Yunagi".

Her previous release "City Lights" charted as one of the top songs in Taiwan and garnered a lot of attention. Following the city pop of her previous release, this new single mixes in a touch of jazz, further broadening the range of her music.

For a few seconds, it felt as if the waves had stopped.
The beauty of the burnt sea and sky suddenly brought down a melody, and the song was written. By not describing the "answer" to the end of love, which is always beautiful and somewhat cruel, the work creates a "beyond" for each person who listens to it.

Umi Komachi self-produces not only the music but also all of the artwork and videos. The jacket of this work is a photograph taken when she herself encountered a moment of evening calm (in the evening, when the sea and land breezes alternate and there is no wind for a time) and the melody came down.
