Yuri Hirano aka "Yurimaru" released a NEW 8cm single CD "Cho Yurimaru Ondo" following last year's "Tanzaku CD no Hi 2023".
Yuri Hirano aka Yurimaru resumed her solo activities in 2022. She recently released a single "Ray / Bye" on June 15, and has been energetically performing live, and has already released a new song on 8cm CD. The new song, "Cho Yurimaru Ondo" was composed by Ryo Shirai of Moonriders, one of Japan's leading guitarists/producers/arrangers who has arranged/produced many hits from the 80's to the present, including those of Kyoko Koizumi, GO-BANG'S, Kenji Sawada, Sharan Q, Sukanchi, BEGIN, Hori Chiemi, Kiyonori Matsuo, and many more. Yoshiaki Shirai of Moonriders, one of Japan's leading guitarists, producers, and arrangers who has arranged and produced many hit songs for BEGIN, Hori Chichin, Matsuo Kiyonori, and others, was asked to compose and produce the song (by the label's insiders), and Yurimaru himself wrote the lyrics. Yurimaru, who has always had a strong attachment to his hometown Asahi City in Chiba Prefecture, wrote the lyrics to this unprecedented NEO song bon dance rap song that expresses his sincere love for his hometown.
Also included on the coupling are two karaoke versions of the song. Please enjoy the differences between them and use them according to your purposes!
This year, our town's Bon dance will be decided by "Cho Yurimaru Ondo"!

    Debuted with TAKENOKO. Hirano Yuri, nicknamed Yuri-maru. Her image color is white, and her trademark is Naruto. Active in various groups as well as solo. A self-proclaimed THE idol with skills ranging from classic idol performances to rapping! Known for catchy songs and performances that bring her zero distance from the audience. In her hometown of Asahi City, Chiba Prefecture, she serves as a one-day police chief, hosts coming-of-age ceremonies, and collaborates with the mascot character Asa-Pee, demonstrating her community-rooted activities. She also performs unique stages like kindergarten live shows, serving as a one-day captain on a cargo-passenger ship developing the Izu Islands, and train live performances on the Choshi Electric Railway. Her regularly held Shibuya LIVE BUS was featured on Nippon TV's Shuichi, generating significant buzz. Beyond music, she maintains a strong presence through talk and information dissemination, including hosting a regular program on Shibuya Cross FM. Since 2024, she has been developing a featuring project with solo idols she produces. In August, she successfully hosted a five-hour-plus event featuring 12 solo idols, expanding her activities to include overseas performances and appearances at major events.
