This song is written without judging or justifying the part of myself that chooses the same road, even while knowing the outcome. The sound of breathing at the end feels like a substitute for the words I never managed to say.
There are emotions I cant bring myself to end. Even after realizing that what I once believed was eternal was actually a nightmare, I know I would still make the same choice.
Those contradictions and that vulnerability are left behind through sound and breath.
