"The scenery of that day that I once saw melts into the night." [.que]'s masterpiece album "Nightfall" has been reissued as a remastered CD and LP. Acoustic, ambient piece created mainly with piano. A number of lyrical and beautiful songs woven from piano, ambience, and electric piano recorded in various locations. The carefully constructed beats and rhythms that are heard from time to time give a sense of comfort, and the delicate and pale melody eventually melts into the night. Guest musicians include muneki takasaka (paniyolo) on guitar, yo suzuki (akisai) on flute, and fumiko takeshita (no.9 orchestra) on violin. Incorporating important musicians that [.que] has met so far, he has established a beautiful worldview. The remastering was handled by Kentaro Kimura of kimken studio. The jacket was designed by photographer Mao Kokubun, and the design was by Daisuke Obana, and everything from the music to the artwork to the binding was carefully polished.

    [.que] / nao kakimoto kyu- / nao kakimoto [.que] is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Nao Kakimoto, based in Tokyo, Japan. Since 2010 he has released albums on labels such as SCHOLE, IntroDuCing! and his own EMBRACE. He has also composed music for many film movies, television commercials, websites and exhibitions.
