18歳でヒューマンビートボクサーチャンプの肩書きを互いに持つNECOZEとMASTA CAWがRAPを担い、ソウルフルかつグルーヴなビートで全国に中毒者を拡大させているStoop The RaidによりプロデュースするクルーがYELLOW TAPES。1st EPから興奮冷めやらぬまま、格段にアップデートした2nd EPの登場。
全曲サンプリングをベースにした中毒性高く耳から離れないSTRなサウンド。
MASTA CAWは90s Golden Eraで言葉を吐き出し縦乗りするRAPスタイル、NECOZEはビートにスパイスとなるRAPサウンドを発信している。
EP表題曲であるDispelでは様々な夜の霧を切り分け進む行動論が謳われる内容で、互いのバースの入りが抜群な好曲。
4曲目 Shineは同世代でLIVE,作品発表を勢力的に行い活躍するGKが客演し、現場の空気感とバイブスを120％詰めたパーティーシットに仕上がっている。
YELLOW TAPESが提示するサウンドは傾聴してきた"HIPHOPへの敬意と歴史"を匂わせくれる。
