Feel so fine

Feel so fine
I gotta a so shining
LIFE is so beautiful
楽しむだけall night long

Ando Yu
"single-minded" is a landmark release for Yu Ando, signifying a new step in his music career. While Ando has previously been involved in songwriting, this work marks the first time he has penned all the lyrics and composed all the music entirely himself. The title "Ichizu" (which can be translated as "Wholehearted" or "Single-minded") encapsulates two such "wholehearted feelings": the strong determination to overcome the struggles and difficulties faced while earnestly pursuing dreams and goals, and to remain true to one's pure passion; and an unwavering, deep affection for his hometown of Yamagata, which always serves as a source of emotional support. The lyrics feature phrases such as, "It's okay to walk and stumble alone, I feel so fine," which express the strength to embrace even the loneliness and anxiety experienced during challenges, and to forge one's own path forward. There are also lines like, "I realize I've come far, but I always remember my hometown. Thank you for the unchanging warmth. Even when apart, we're connected, cherries (sakuranbo)," symbolically depicting the bond with his hometown that connects them emotionally across physical distances, and his affection for "sakuranbo" (cherries), the iconic fruit of Yamagata. The song culminates in an emotional and groovy sound that gently resonates with listeners, inspiring courage, hope, and a sense of the warmth found in human connections.
