The bamboo rustles.
The wind begins to laugh.
You never see it coming-
yet before you know it, it has already raced past you.
"Kazekiri Shuffle" is a high-energy entry in the Yokai Grand Music Festival series, inspired by the legendary Kamaitachi, the mysterious wind spirit of Japanese folklore.
Driving shamisen rhythms.
Dusty Boom Bap drums.
A groove that slices through the night like a rushing wind.
Whirling through moonlit bamboo forests, the invisible spirit dances between the trees, playful, swift, and forever beyond reach.
Inspired by the dynamic yokai imagery of Japanese ukiyo-e, Kazekiri Shuffle blends timeless folklore with modern Boom Bap into a thrilling musical chase through the night.
Listen closely...
The next gust of wind might just be the Kamaitachi running beside you.
Liminal Reverie is an instrumental music project centered on the theme between reality and dreams. Between day and night. After the crowds fade away. Moments where reality and dreams have not yet fully separated. Liminal Reverie turns the lingering presence, afterglow, and quiet atmosphere of those moments into sound. The project is built on two complementary musical axes: Japanese side: Edo Lofi Western side: Liminal Reverie Each explores a different world, while sharing the same sense of liminality.
