Under the full moon of Nasu Plain, the legendary Sessho-seki rests in silence.
Yet every night, beneath the sacred rope that binds the cursed stone, the yokai gather once more.
"Sessho-seki - Moonlit Requiem -" is a dark Boom Bap chapter from the Yokai Grand Music Festival series, portraying a solemn midnight ritual performed by Japan's legendary spirits.
Taiko drums echo through the night.
Shamisen strings pulse with ancient rhythm.
The shakuhachi carries its haunting melody into the moonlit wind.
Oni strike the drums.
Tengu breathe life into the flute.
Skeletons pluck the shamisen.
Kappa, tanuki, and fox spirits dance together in quiet circles around the sacred stone.
This is not a celebration.
It is a moonlit requiem-an endless performance offered to a legend that still sleeps beneath the stone.
Inspired by the timeless imagery of Japanese ukiyo-e and ancient folklore, this is where dark Boom Bap meets the eternal dance of the yokai beneath the moon.

Liminal Reverie is an instrumental music project centered on the theme between reality and dreams. Between day and night. After the crowds fade away. Moments where reality and dreams have not yet fully separated. Liminal Reverie turns the lingering presence, afterglow, and quiet atmosphere of those moments into sound. The project is built on two complementary musical axes: Japanese side: Edo Lofi Western side: Liminal Reverie Each explores a different world, while sharing the same sense of liminality.
