A raging sea, the sound of waves echoing in the distance, and the quiet moments spent waiting for those who will never return. While carrying the grief of losing a loved one, we live each day with the wish they left behind-"Live"-held close to our hearts, passing life on to tomorrow.
In the phrase "Eight Million Spirits," I have poured a prayer to never forget the countless spirits and to pass on their voices and thoughts to the future.
Even if the grief never fades, perhaps walking forward while holding onto that grief is one form of prayer that those left behind can offer.
Across the sea, and beyond the sky.
To tell our loved ones, who are no longer within reach, "I'm still here."
