Kingo, a bilingual rapper with a light command of two languages (English and Japanese) who has performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 2023, and Black petrol, a Kansai-based seven-piece band that performed at SUMMER SONIC 2023 (OSAKA) this year, featuring the high performance skills of players with jazz roots and two unique MC rap artists with different characters. Black petrol, a Kansai-based seven-piece band that performed at "SUMMER SONIC 2023 (OSAKA)" this year, and DinoJr., an SSW whose fusion of various musical genres such as R&B, funk, and electronic music has attracted attention, have released a collaboration single, "Anthem. Anthem" was released.
The three groups, each of which express highly improvisational music such as hip-hop, funk, and jazz in their band sets, were attracted by the commonality of their performances and roots, and held a three-man project at Shimokitazawa SPREAD in May 2023. The event was a huge success, filling the venue to capacity, and two of the organizers performed at major music festivals this year, making them a hot spot in the music scene. They have collaborated to create "Anthem," a song named after the event they hosted. The song, which was produced with the participation of all MCs, singers, supporting musicians, and band members, is a hip-hop beat with a sampled feel, but also has elements of gospel music and is full of euphoria, making it a song that can truly become an "anthem" of the scene.

Japanese Hip-hop/Soul artist Kingo, crafts his music as the vehicle to explore his diverse life experiences, and desire for personal growth - using his meditative nature as the driving force in his pursuit of self-actualisation. Although he was born in Japan, Kingo spent the majority of his formative years in post-war Cambodia, and the United States - leading to a distinctly international perspective, and a form of expression that is uniquely his own. Kingo marries his personal, intimate lyrics with a razor-sharp flow that is characteristic of his dynamic, exhilarating sound. He illustrates his versatility by seamlessly alternating between English and Japanese - artisan-ally evoking a sense of familiarity in the listener as he invites them into his world. Dropping his guard and opening up, he hopes of reaching those facing life's challenges with his music. Kingo aims to soften the soul - sparking important heart - to - hearts that lead to a shared sense of companionship, mindfulness, and a renewed spirit to persevere through difficult times.

1991年、千葉県生まれのシンガーソングライター。 台湾人と日本人の血を引く。 全ての曲の作詞作曲、アレンジ、DAWでのトラックメイクを行う。 アンダーグラウンドのブラックミュージックセッションに通うことで得たうねる日本語のグルーヴ、アカデミックさと子供のような無邪気さが同居した安易に他に迎合しないオルタナティブなサウンドメイク、シュールで散文めいた独特なワードセンス、そして音源からは想像もつかないアグレッシブなライブパフォーマンスが特徴。都内を中心に活動中。
