Since 2026, shinichi karuishi has been pursuing and expressing a world of quiet, serene sound.
The fifth release, Ipheion, takes its name from the flowers meaning sad farewell.
Like the flower itself, this piece delicately weaves a scene that is both sorrowful and beautiful, quietly seeping into the heart.
It is the most introspective and emotionally rich ambient folk work in the series to date.

    shinichi karuishi Iwate-born musician / guitarist Inspired by the demo songs on his grandfathers YAMAHA SHS-200 keyboard in early childhood, shinichi awakened to music. In middle school, he fell in love with the sound of electric guitar, and during high school, he spent his days creating multi-track recordings with friends using MTR. After moving to Tokyo, he played as guitarist and composer in mixture bands and Rare Groove instrumental groups. In 2021, he returned to his hometown in Iwate, where he now bases his activities providing songs to domestic artists, guest performances, and live support for singers, among many other projects. In 2025, he performed as opening act with Jazz singer Joe Li at bird Sou da Morioka, Ikou. 25th Anniv Acoustic Live 2025. From 2026, beginning with the release of snowflake he will continue pursuing landscapes of silence and subtle sound.
