"Hana No Iyaringu" (Flower Earrings) tells the story of a fleeting summer crush at a business seminar. The narrator notices a girl from the class next door, her small sunflower-shaped earrings swaying gently, and a navy suit and ponytail giving her a grown-up glow he had never seen before. When she asks, "Does it suit me?", he can only laugh it off and look away instead of saying what he truly feels. He longs to pull her close and still those swaying earrings with his own hands, but cowardice gets the better of him and the moment slips away unspoken. It is a sweet and bittersweet summer ballad about a love confession that never came.
