A piano arrangement album featuring the music of JEIN.
The beautiful melodies and rich harmonies reveal a different side of these songs, guiding the listener toward unfamiliar landscapes that somehow feel deeply nostalgic.
As the layers of distortion give way to the piano, delicate melodies and subtle harmonic colors emerge with newfound clarity, allowing each piece to breathe in an entirely different form. Free from the weight of the band sound, the music quietly evokes images of rain-washed streets, soft light, and distant memories.
For those who know the original recordings, this album offers a fresh perspective. For first-time listeners, it stands as a collection of piano works in its own right. A quiet invitation to experience the beauty of JEIN.s music through its melodies, harmonies, silence, and resonance.
JEIN. is an alternative rock band based in Fukuoka, Japan. Formed in April 2026 by Osato and Oharu, the band welcomed Hiroyuki in July 2026. JEIN. currently centers around Hiroyuki (Vocals), Oharu (Bass), and Osato (Drums). Built on a foundation of alternative rock, JEIN. draws from shoegaze, post-punk, new wave, gothic rock, and dream pop, creating a distinctive sound defined by deep reverberation, driving rhythms, and beautifully shadowed melodies. Delicate melodies, lyrical bass lines, spacious arrangements, and bold dynamic contrasts give each song a unique sense of tension within stillness and fragility within overwhelming walls of sound. Their lyrics explore universal themes such as life and death, memory, loss, dreams and reality, solitude, and redemption. Rather than telling direct stories, they evoke fragmented imagery and symbolic landscapes, leaving space for listeners to find their own interpretations as each work unfolds a different emotional world. With Oharus lyrical songwriting, Osatos multidimensional arrangements, and the addition of Hiroyuki, whose presence further expands the bands post-punk, new wave, and gothic influences, JEIN. continues to evolve into a richer and more multifaceted musical expression. JEIN. transforms the emotions and landscapes that emerge at the boundaries into experiences rather than answers.
