"Tooson," a beatmaker highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally, has released his solo beat album "DRIP TRAVELS" via Sutsu no Ana! The album features eight tracks that explore the diverse facets and possibilities of drill music through experimental sounds, centered around the ever-evolving New York underground drill beat.
Centered on NY Drill, this beat album traverses the sensibilities of experimental hip-hop and electronic music. Rather than simply being "drill," many of the tracks blend the tension of moving at high speed through the city at night with the instability of being immersed in a digital space.
While retaining the raw energy of street music, it incorporates electronic textures and unpredictable developments, elevating the sound into something unsettling and futuristic-distinct from traditional NY Drill.
This beat album experimentally explores the new possibilities inherent in the Drill genre.
The artwork was created by Ullah, who has long been responsible for the artwork of his close collaborator "BLYY."
"Tooson" has also formed a production unit with his close collaborator, the beatmaker "Fugenn & The White Elephants," and continues to release music at a rapid and energetic pace, consistently ranking high on electronic music charts both domestically and internationally.
