Masahiro Mori's second single of 2024, "2 Centimeters", will be released on March 29th.
This work, which is based on his own experiences and conflicts, is a "love song"that depicts the quiet flame of love that lies deep within the hearts of two people who seem to have grown cold over the years.
Even though the person I love is right in front of me, for some reason they seem far away.
The two of them really want to communicate, but there are so many misunderstandings that they can't express it honestly.
It depicts people opening their hearts to each other and trying to convey words of love before the window closes, like carefully opening a window that is only two centimeters wide.
Piano arpeggios, simple 8-beat drums and bass, and the sounds of two guitars overlap to create a painfully sharp rock sound.
The lyrics, composition, arrangement, performance, singing, and chorus were all written by Masahiro Mori himself.
Vocals and acoustic guitar were recorded at Monk Beat Records in Minamiboso City.
Masahiro Mori is also in charge of mixing and mastering.
He also designed the jacket for "A Window Open by 2 Centimeters",which is a metaphor for the mind before it closes.

    Masahiro Mori Singer and songwriter, Pisces, born in the suburbs of Tokyo. Currently releasing songs with the concept of "A soothing pop sound that touches the soul". Story When he was in the fourth grade of elementary school, he was shocked when he heard Bach's flute sonata coming from the TV in the next room. Since then, he has been involved in baroque, classical, and film music, and has moved on to Simon & Garfunkel, Francis Lai, and Burt Bacharach, and has had a musical journey that includes folk songs, new music, hard rock, oldies, Motown, pop songs, British pop, techno, and J-POP. In junior high school, he played bass in a band. In college, he regularly performed at live houses with original songs that he sang while playing the guitar. After graduating from college, he continued his band activities. After that, he lived a life that was neither close nor far from music, but deep in his heart he lives with the desire to "share his music widely with the world". In 2020, when the world was hit by the coronavirus pandemic, he began composing music using DTM. In 2023, she re-studied singing and composition at a vocal school, and started distributing music in 2024.
