Emo Station
Emo Stationは、横浜を拠点に活動するアーティスト／プロデューサー。 Hyperpop、Emo rap、Glitchcore、Ambient、Electronicなどを横断しながら、作詞・作曲・ビートメイク・録音・ミックス・マスタリングまでを自身で手がけるDIYスタイルで制作を行っている。 作品の出発点にあるのは、日常の中で実際に観測した感覚や出来事。記憶、距離感、孤独、信頼、身体、生と死、そして言葉になりきらない感情まで、ひとつの答えに回収するのではなく、その時に見えた形のまま音楽へ残している。 「揺らぎ」はその表現を構成する重要な要素のひとつ。白か黒かを決めるのではなく、その間に存在するものや、時間とともに変化していく感覚そのものを扱う。 2021年の統合失調症発症、その後の入院生活などを経験しながら活動を継続。そうした経験も作品の背景には存在するが、それだけを自身の物語の中心には置かず、何気ない日常やくだらない出来事も同じ温度で作品にしている。 音楽活動に加え、AIを用いた音楽プロジェクト「Misery」、ファッションブランド「forM」、自主制作ゲームなど、媒体を限定せず表現を展開。 Emo Stationにとって作品は、答えを提示するためのものではなく、その時そこにあったものを記録するためのもの。 変化しながらも、自分の感覚に対して誠実であることを軸に制作を続けている。
