Kedama's second single in 2022. It's usually a band formation, but the production was done during the period from 2019 to 2021 when we couldn't gather in the studio due to the corona wreck, and the vocalist Kurosawa was in charge of all the instruments, making it close to a solo.
It has a spacey sound different from the usual kedama's sound, such as deep bass drum, synth bass, 8 layered vocals, and use of auto tune.
The lyrics are about great things take time, wanting to reconsider things that tend to be neglected in capitalist society, and about joint struggle.
Studio Crusoe's You Nishimura is in charge of mastering, Masashi Takashima is in charge of vocal recording, and Mayu Matsubara is in charge of jacket design. Kurosawa was in charge of the mix and other recordings.
Formed in 2012, this vocal-oriented band was brought together around Hayato Kurosawa. They've released three albums under Atsushi Sasaki's HEADZ/WEATHER label. In April 2021, they independently released their fourth album, Waiting Underground, via streaming. Their music blends diverse influences, including folk, post-rock, and Brazilian sounds.
