  GOOFY STYLE is an innovative band from Japan that proclaims its own genre, -Asian Soul Heavy Groove- and exudes a unique presence in the music scene. Their sound, rooted in ROCK, blends elements of Heavy Metal, Nu Metal, and Asian folk music to create a multi-layered musical experience that transcends genres. Activities and International Recognition Since their formation, GOOFY STYLE has been active as pioneers in the scene, merging an Asian folk music approach with loud music, while always keeping global expansion in mind. Their deep lyrics, centered on themes of -life, nature, and the universe,- and their unique sound have been highly praised both domestically and internationally. After the release of their 2004 album Gen Jitsugen Sou, the band began full-scale international activities. In 2005, they performed at Taiwan's large-scale festival, -SPRING SCREAM.- Due to the local acclaim, they made numerous appearances at outdoor events such as the -Ocean Music Festival.- Additionally, in 2006, they performed at -FANIME 2006- in the United States before an audience of 5,000 people, selling out 150 albums they had brought with them, establishing a strong following overseas. After a temporary hiatus, they resumed activities in 2010. During the pandemic, they released two albums, and in 2024, they were invited to an event hosted by Taiwan's Rock Steady label and once again performed at the -Ocean Music Festival- in New Taipei City, becoming the first foreign band to perform there multiple times. Their international achievements and recognition have expanded their fanbase back in Japan.
