Kurosaki Yuuka third release in the Essays in Song series.

The Essays in Song is a collection of pieces created to be experienced like reading a book alone, quiet works that are closer to narration than conventional songs.
Rather than being shared, they are intended to gently accompany moments of solitude.

Love, something that cannot be seen, is inherently ambiguous.
What is meant to be something precious can, at times, become a convenient excuse for oneself.
This piece reflects a quiet sense of doubt toward that shift, along with a subtle sense of introspection.

The vocals are delivered in a whisper-like intimacy, gradually opening up toward the latter half of the piece as emotion begins to surface.
This structure is influenced in part by lyricist Naoko Date, who comes from a background in narrative writing.
Rather than consciously rejecting conventional musical structures, it is perhaps the unfamiliarity with them that allows fleeting thoughts and emotions from everyday life to be captured and expressed without ornamentation, an approach that naturally aligns with the spirit of the Essays in Song.

Each cover artwork in this series is hand-drawn, intended to visually preserve the atmosphere and emotional temperature of the music itself.

Instead of presenting clear answers, the piece quietly offers a question that connects to the listener own present moment.
