Pitachio Studioのメンバーでもある鈴木真海子の初共作となるシングル“sudori”が、2月13日にリリース。

今回の“Sudori”は、CBSと鈴木真海子の初共演ながら、その親和性は抜群。プロデュースはRyo Takahashi。浮遊感のあるピアノに柔らかなドラムマシーンが乗る、聴き手を自然と楽曲の世界へ引き込む仕上がりとなっている

    ネオ・ソウル、ジャズ、ラップの融和、生バンドとのセッション／制作を独自に追求する神奈川発のヒップホップ・グループ。kyon、takaya、bashoの3MC、ビートメイカー／ドラマーのryo takahashiから成る。2005年、神奈川を拠点に活動を開始し、2012～2017年にbandcampにて5作品を発表。2016年からは、みずから立ち上げたレコーディング・スタジオ「ピスタチオスタジオ」のハウスバンドであるChicken Is Niceを従えたバンド・セットを開始する。翌2017年7月、バンド・セットのライヴで培った経験を活かしたChicken Is Niceとのソウルフルな共作曲「WAVEY」を含む初のフィジカル・ファースト・アルバム『Classic Brown Sounds』をドロップ。 TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C)、SUPPLE、esme mori、tajima halらのビートメイカーが参加し、昨今ますます深化を続けるビート・ミュージックとも共鳴する作品となる。2018年には、Chicken Is Niceがトラックを制作し、ミックス／マスタリングをillicit tsuboiが担当したシングル「Stay Up All Night」を発表。生演奏とサンプリングの融合をより洗練させた形で提示した。2019年11月にはセカンド・アルバムに先駆けたシングル「All I Can Say」を発表。2022年にはセカンド・アルバム『Classic Brown Sounds 2』をドロップ。 2023年現在、結成当初からの自主独立の精神を忘れず、CBS×Chicken Is Niceの8人編成のライヴをこなしながら次作のための楽曲を着々と制作中。

  • Mamiko Suzuki

    Born in Tokyo, affiliated with Pistachio Studio. Formed chelmico in 2014 and began her solo career as Suzuki Mamiko in 2017. A songwriter, singer-songwriter, and rapper. Her melodies, influenced by jazz, Latin, and folk music from her childhood, combined with lyrics reflecting everyday life, resonate deeply with listeners. In addition to creating and producing her own music, she also provides songs for commercials, dramas, and other artists. In 2021, she released her first album, ms, and has collaborated as a guest artist with STUTS, TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C), yonawo, PAS TASTA, idom, daichi yamamoto, Yasutaka Nakata, Elvis Costello, Ken Hirai, m-flo, Fishmans, Mei Semones, Jacob Mann, Joe Cupertino, Takuya Kuroda, and many others. Her second album, mukuge, was released on June 26.
