### About "DARK HERO"

This time, member BUZZ_RAN, who deeply loves comics, took on the challenge of writing lyrics with a villain as the theme. In particular, he chose to focus on a "slightly dorky-cool Dark Hero." The track, lyrics, and music video were produced by professional creators and artists in their respective fields, coming together to form a single piece of work.

> BUZZ_RAN's comment: "While the focus is often on heroes, we intentionally explored the villain's perspective... their awkwardness and inherent kindness through music. Villains also have dreams, aspirations, companions, and a conscience. This song portrays such villains suddenly appearing as heroes. Since we've known each other's musical tastes for a long time, selecting tracks and recording went very smoothly, resulting in an interesting piece. This song has a storyline, so please listen to it all the way through! And, given the dark hero theme, we have a visually enjoyable cute music video animation!"

"I added elements of disco and funk along with developments, arrangements, and mix balances seen in recent dance music. I also wanted to introduce a J-Pop flair, so I deliberately used a lot of sounds but tweaked the mid-range to unmask and make the vocals clear. It's a high-tempo track, so enjoy it loud!"

### The Formation of SUPER-VILLAINS
It all started when rapper BUZZ_RAN, who had been away from music activities for over 10 years, got back in touch with music producer SAN DAVID, who proposed, "How about we make a song after such a long time?" BUZZ_RAN said, "I was surprised by the sudden proposal but somehow instinctively said 'Let's do it!' with a laugh."

Former member of BUZZathlete, rapper RAN, has renamed himself BUZZ_RAN and resumed his music activities. He used to organize HIPHOP events and perform live in Tokyo, then became a member of the HIPHOP event 16×6 in his hometown of Chiba, working behind the scenes at live events. After BUZZathlete disbanded, he started a YouTube channel and streamed game playthroughs while continuing to participate in SAN DAVID's album tracks secretly.

Music producer/beatmaker/DJ. Started playing the piano at age 3, indie debuted as a guitarist in a heavy metal/rock band at 13. Moved to the USA at 17 to learn beat-making. Graduated from ESP/MI JAPAN in Recording & Production. Engineered under C-murder at DJ YUTAKA's 813 STUDIO. Based in Tokyo, has worked on tracks for RINNE YOSHIDA, SEEDA, DJ ISSO's street mix CD series CONCRETE GREEN, RICE a.k.a. AB-NICE, Krush Matic (NYC), ISSEI, and VOYZBOY.
