SHOW GUTS RAP

The two-piece girl hip-hop unit hy4_4yh (Hyper-Yo-Yo) has dropped a new song to usher in the new year 2025.
The song was written and composed by hy4_4yh's producer and close friend, the late Ezaki Masaru Manji. The lyrics, which ritually refer to the osechi ryori and the seven gods of good fortune that accompany the New Year, are reminiscent not only of his beloved mentor RHYMESTER, but also of Wednesday's Campanella. The track, with its Japanese flavor and jazzy undertones, was produced by nerd music club, a beatmaker from Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture.
As usual, yukarin and chanchala rapped at 100% of their full potential, and the English idiom "show (me) your guts" was used as a pun for "show buts" (New Year's pun). Go out there and keep up the good work in 2025!
