The lotus flower of Konoha blooms twice.
"THE SOUNDTRACK OF ENCOUNTERS" Session 2, the second installment, was produced and completed with the wonderful Brazilian guitarist, Márcio Moraes.
We were deeply impressed by his amazing guitar playing in his band, Jimmy and Atomic Bombs, and made him an offer. Fortunately, he gladly accepted it. Soon after, he booked a studio and completed the recording in just one day, delivering the guitar playing that you are about to hear.
Our request to him from MS/GB was very simple: "Please release your passion and focus only on enjoying free expression." That was all. We were truly moved by how wonderful the result was.
Not long after we met, Márcio and I discovered that we loved the same bands, and we quickly connected. I began to imagine how wonderful it would be if he played guitar for MS/GB, and I strongly wished to make that happen someday. And that wish came true.
It is not easy to put that greatness into words. We hope this music reaches as many people as possible and is enjoyed from the heart.
To Márcio, an old friend I have not yet met.
Thank you so much for breathing new life into MS/GB's music. Writing songs is my purpose, and writing lyrics is MASA's, and both are very simple at their core. You accepted our music and told us, "That's perfectly fine," and that gave us the courage to stay true to ourselves.
You told us that you love the Japanese anime NARUTO. If MASA and I are Rock Lee, then you are definitely our Might Guy. As long as you keep smiling, MASA and I can continue our musical journey in the MS/GB style. Please continue to breathe new life into our music.
