I improvised this piece when I was a university student, trying to use Schubert's favorite rhythm "long-short-short-long-short-short", and almost the entire piece is built around it. The melody and rhythm are assimilated and the dynamics are suppressed, so the piece is expressed through harmonic changes. The middle part is a paraphrase of the first two bars of "Lullaby of the Amami Region," in which a tone half tone lower (g) and half tone higher (a) than the main part (g#) appear, bringing a sense of instability and building a climax. After this, the tone returns to a still calm tone, oscillating between minor and major to close this retrospective piece.
