hobomaru
Hobomaru is an eight-piece band based in Tokyo, Japan. We perform with a wide variety of instruments including trumpet, trombone, mandolin and electronic marimba. "Hobo" is a Japanese word for "almost", which means our band name "hobomaru" signifies "almost perfect round shape". As the name shows, we play music of both sides: urban, sophisticated atmosphere like completely round circle, as well as warm, soft sound like someone's handwritten figure.
