In July, Nachika released Jōnetsu no Changja feat. Nachika,a collaborative track with KYO-ZON project. Inspired by her favorite food, changja (Korean spicy marinated pollock roe), the song captivated listeners with its flamenco-inspired sound, playful pop sensibility, and catchy melody.

In her latest release, Nachika tells the story of two people who are not yet lovers, sharing a brief journey home together on a rainy day. With Kim Taehoon as the arranger, the track blends the sophisticated groove of city pop with the breezy charm of indie pop, creating a sound that evokes a sense of nostalgia while revealing a new side of Nachikas musical artistry.

Driven by a sense of momentum reminiscent of a nighttime drive, the song combines Nachikas sweet, crystal-clear vocals, an infectious melody, and lyrics that subtly reveal the bittersweet feelings of being in love. The result is a light, vibrant pop number full of color and emotion.

The inspiration for the song came from a real-life experience Nachika had while walking through the city at night under a transparent umbrella. Raindrops falling onto the umbrella reflected the lights of traffic signals and shop signs, creating the illusion of fish swimming around her. The scene reminded her of an aquarium, sparking the idea behind the song.
