Lyric

There's gonna be a change (feat. akiko)

MBanja Ritchy

A change gonna come..changes

Things are gonna change

Yeah

Things are gonna change

There’s gonna be a change

There’s gonna be a change

I say it’s gonna change

I say it’s going to change

I think it’s going to change

There’s gonna be a better day

..there’s gonna be a better day

I’ve been looking for a sign that we could be changing

Miss the times when rappers were their life and

Not only lifestyles a hundred percent flow voice energy

And lyrics so analyze the message deep within your

Core how it makes you feel many have to fake it

Like they’re hard as steel life is never easy especially

When you’re busy forget your enemies focus on the light

They’ll never be another you the rose that grew

From the concrete streets can be the next you

You can be the next leader in your own way

There’s gotta be a better day things are gonna change

People who laid the foundation thank you to help

Me a better person like Malcom I can never forget this

Don’t wanna regret this seriousness I gotta express this

Things are gonna change..yeah..things are gonna change

There’s gonna be a change..there’s gonna be a change

I say it’s gonna change..I say it’s going to change

I think it’s going to change there’s gonna be a better day

..there’s gonna be a better day

Smile because they were born not because they died

The devil will lie but the truth will always rise

Wisdom never gets old souls get sold but the truth is told

Divine power heavenly showers higher than a tower

Feel the power of the Universe Universal Jah bless souls

Treat each other like you wanna be treated

The music from the past still hits deep like Marley

Or Aretha or Miles I just ran miles just to get here

Life is what you make it have no fear shed tears

If you have to but get right back up even if you’re fed up

You never failed it’s just missteps in this game of chess

Sometimes chess is not enough take a rest

For a minute overheated be seated in God’s space

There’s a place for all of us in God we trust

Things are gonna change..yeah..things are gonna change

There’s gonna be a change..there’s gonna be a change

I say it’s gonna change..I say it’s going to change

I think it’s going to change there’s gonna be a better day

..there’s gonna be a better day

Learn from yesterday, live for today and hope for a better tomorrow.
In the middle of difficulty, there still lies opportunity. It's not over till it's really over!
Life is about moving forward.
The rapping and the singing blend effortlessly with an atmosphere of Soul and Jazz, with lyrics that have a touch of resilience, reminiscent of a blues song.
Mbanja Ritchy and akiko collaborate in a soft spoken manner but the song provides powerful food for the soul.
Take a listen!
