Song Introduction
Beautiful stars twinkling in the winter sky, the gentle moonlight watching over romantic love story set on a starry winter night.
I focused on a universal, standard melody, and used effective rhetoric to evoke the starry winter night, sprinkling the lyrics with sparkling words.
I still live with the brilliance of what I've lost and can't get back.
Perhaps this song was born for me so that I'll never forget that person.
If that's so, I want to keep singing this song forever.
Until it reaches the heavens.

Song Production Notes
I came up with this one phrase in a convenience store parking lot late at night on July 18, 2019.
I was gazing at the night sky from my car while sipping a 100-yen coffee, when the original melody for the chorus suddenly came to me, and I recorded it in a voice memo under the credit "Say Goodbye."
During a trip to Italy in November 2019, she got inspiration for the melody except for the chorus while inside a small church near the Colosseum in Rome.
Later, during a trip to Florence, she was gazing up at the beautiful starry sky and came up with the prototype for the lyrical theme.
Initially, the prototype for the chorus melody came to her in the summer, so the lyrics were themed around summer starry skies, but the starry sky she saw in Florence made such a strong impression that she changed the lyrical theme to winter starry skies.
After returning from Italy, she told herself that she should just write a song that was true to her own imagination, and the melody came to her easily.
In January 2020, the song was initially titled "Moonlight Shining Star," but she subsequently reworked the melody and lyrics many times before it took on its current form in November 2022. It took around three and a half years to complete, and the title was changed to "My Shining Star."
