"Inverted Cities" is inspired by the future landscapes of cities I travelled to in the past. The sound of the album has the diverse music influence such as Krautrock, Ambient,Newage,Kankyo Ongaku, Progressive Rock and Synthesizer Music. This album is the world trip by sounds but also time trip.
The hundreds of signboards and billboards advertising electronics in Ciudad del Este (Paraguay), the infinitely expanding shopping malls in the center of Manila (Phillipines), and the old seaside streets in Montevideo (Uruguay), slowly decaying into the sunlight. I wonder what it will become of these (past) landscapes in the future.
The images from these cities are fragmented in my memory, sometimes they get mixed up with images from other cities, or become purified through time, going to gradually shape yet unexplored landscapes.
All sounds were generated by software synthesizers and VST effects, no hardwares were used for making of this album.
