As a poet, lyricist, and narrator, I wanted to create music that values the words only I can express.
I have taken on the challenge of "Poetry Music," a genre that is still not very common.

As its name suggests, this work incorporates the element of poetry - I recite my own lyrics with my own voice.
This marks a new beginning for me, Megumi Hanasaki.

Balancing the overall volume between the instrumental, spoken word, and melodic parts was quite challenging.
I also struggled with the mixing and fade adjustments, but I devoted particular care to expressing emotion through my narration and the delicate control of each fade.

In addition, I added a slightly faster rhythm than usual so that the flow of words and music could merge more naturally.

As both a lyricist and a narrator, I hope you can feel the moment when words become music through this piece.

    Megumi Hanasaki Since 2021, after becoming ill, words began to overflow from within me and never stopped. I express poetry, words, and sound across various social media platforms. From April 2025, I began using the name Megumi Hanasaki exclusively for my lyric writing and artist activities. My YouTube channel is titled Songs of Megumi Hanasaki Even now, while continuing to battle illness, I weave words with deep gratitude for all the people who support me. There were many times I almost gave up, but I chose the path of doing my best with what I can and living my life fully. From October 2025, I began a new journey as a Poetry Music Artist, incorporating a form of expression that combines my work as a poet, lyricist, narrator, and essayist. Poetry Music is a rare musical genre that blends lyrics, spoken word, and melody. I feel that the current music release system in Japan tends to overlook the importance of lyrics. As an artist who lives with words, I aim to share their beauty and depth, and to keep reminding people how powerful words can be. am always searching for words that can encourage myself.
