I wrote this song for a friend who had decided to retire.

I don't know the details of his feelings, but I myself have had to retire due to illness,

and I put the regret I felt at the time, as well as the courage it took to make a break, into lyrics.

"Thank you for your hard work" -- I really wanted to convey those words.

This song was born from that feeling.

In the reading, I paid careful attention to changes in volume and tone of voice to better convey the emotion.

In terms of sound, I placed importance on creating a lingering sound that resonates in the heart,

and I made meticulous adjustments to the echo, reverb, fades, and sound pressure.

    Megumi Hanasaki Since 2021, after becoming ill, words began to overflow from within me and never stopped. I express poetry, words, and sound across various social media platforms. From April 2025, I began using the name Megumi Hanasaki exclusively for my lyric writing and artist activities. As an artist who lives with words, I aim to share their beauty and depth, and to keep reminding people how powerful words can be. am always searching for words that can encourage myself.
