I wrote this song for a friend who had decided to retire.
I don't know the details of his feelings, but I myself have had to retire due to illness,
and I put the regret I felt at the time, as well as the courage it took to make a break, into lyrics.
"Thank you for your hard work" -- I really wanted to convey those words.
This song was born from that feeling.
In the reading, I paid careful attention to changes in volume and tone of voice to better convey the emotion.
In terms of sound, I placed importance on creating a lingering sound that resonates in the heart,
and I made meticulous adjustments to the echo, reverb, fades, and sound pressure.

My YouTube channel is titled Songs of Megumi Hanasaki. Even now while continuing to battle illness I weave words with deep gratitude for all the people who support me. There were many times I almost gave up, but I chose the path of doing my best with what I can and living my life fully. From October 2025, I began a new journey as a Poetry Music Artist, incorporating a form of expression that combines my work as a poet, lyricist, narrator, and essayist. Poetry Music is a rare musical genre that blends lyrics, spoken word, and melody. I feel that the current music release system in Japan tends to overlook the importance of lyrics. As an artist who lives with words, I aim to share their beauty and depth, and to keep reminding people how powerful words can be. am always searching for words that can encourage myself. Along this path, if even one person touches my work and it brings a little color to their life, that would mean the world to me. I'm always grateful. I'm sending you a bouquet of words...
