This is the fifth "Poetry Music" piece by poet, reciter, and lyricist Hanasaki Megumi.

I created "A Snowless Christmas" a few years ago, but after I finished it, I wanted to include the words, "If it had snowed, maybe it wouldn't have been so sad and lonely." So I re-edited it and created the "Complete ver." It's an important song that I've been nurturing for many years.

Due to the effects of global warming, it's become rare to come across a "white Christmas" these days.

In movies and dramas, we see a beautiful world with snow falling, but in reality, life isn't so beautiful.
I put those feelings into the lyrics as well.

Once again, I struggled with the arrangement and mastering. I went through a lot of trial and error.
I created this song without knowing anything, relying solely on my intuition.

I poured all my heart into the recitation.

    Megumi Hanasaki Since 2021, after becoming ill, words began to overflow from within me and never stopped. I express poetry, words, and sound across various social media platforms. Poetry Music is a rare musical genre that blends lyrics, spoken word, and melody. I feel that the current music release system in Japan tends to overlook the importance of lyrics. As an artist who lives with words, I aim to share their beauty and depth, and to keep reminding people how powerful words can be. am always searching for words that can encourage myself.
