    Megumi Hanasaki Since 2021, after becoming ill, words began to overflow from within me and never stopped. I express poetry, words, and sound across various social media platforms. From April 2025, I began using the name Megumi Hanasaki exclusively for my lyric writing and artist activities. My YouTube channel is titled Songs of Megumi Hanasaki Even now, while continuing to battle illness, I weave words with deep gratitude for all the people who support me. Poetry Music is a rare musical genre that blends lyrics, spoken word, and melody. I feel that the current music release system in Japan tends to overlook the importance of lyrics.
