In a nutshell, this song is an anthem of encouragement. Although the title is phrased as an imperative Do notLose its nuance is closer to a prayer or wish that says, I hope you do not lose. For example, if you asked whether anyone could become a superhero like Shohei Ohtani just by working hard, the answer might be no. Still, I want people who give their all to be rewarded, and I want their efforts to pay off. I find myself wishing for this even more strongly when someone important to me is giving it their all. I wrote this song with the hope that it would convey the message: There are people who are watching your hard work.
