From three members to two.

KYOJI is the first EP released by Lightning Blizzard under its new two-piece lineup.

Born from years of struggle, attachment, loss, and hope, these songs could only have been written by the band that has carried all of those emotions forward without letting go.

While retaining the raw passion that has always defined Lightning Blizzard, this EP explores a more mature perspective shaped by time, experience, and growth. The result is a collection of songs that steps beyond the band's previous work, bringing greater depth and nuance to their sound.

The title KYOJI carries a dual meaning.

It reflects the madness that exists within human nature the madness of loving someone, believing in something, and dedicating yourself to a single path for years on end.

At the same time, it echoes the Japanese word Kyōji , meaning pride, dignity, and conviction.

Through changing circumstances and uncertain days, music has remained the one thing we refused to abandon. That unwavering commitment is our pride. That is our conviction.

Madness and conviction.

Two forces that seem opposed, yet often emerge from the very same place within us.

KYOJI is a record shaped by both.

The sound of Lightning Blizzard as it stands today.
