Nod's off

"Nod's off" is the first EP from Osaka-based rock band neversnooze, who began activities in February 2026.
The EP was initially released as a venue-exclusive in the same month, with worldwide streaming starting on June 28, 2026.

Built on an alternative rock foundation, the record crosses over hardcore, emo, and screamo elements.
The EP blends emotionally intense Japanese lyrics with groove-driven, mosh-oriented sections influenced by modern hardcore, creating a dynamic contrast within a single release.

The central themes revolve around a city that never sleeps and individual lives moving within it.
The songs portray human connections found within the coldness of concrete landscapes, and the unseen days and nights spent dancing through life without recognition.

Lead track "Mate."was written around the message that rather than giving up on belief, there is value in choosing to believe in something. A music video has also been produced for the track.

The EP was recorded at do-do studio in Sakai, Japan.
