The story behind this song began with an encounter on social media with Jota Rodriguez, a beatmaker living far away in Venezuela.

After discovering The Deity's music, Jota reached out to him repeatedly with a strong desire to collaborate. Though they lived in different countries and spoke different languages, music brought them together. A sound sent from Venezuela to The Deity became the starting point for this song.

What began across the world eventually became a complete song-one that traveled from stages in Japan, across the ocean, and all the way to a festival in the United States.

But today, The Deity has lost contact with Jota Rodriguez-the person he wants this song to reach more than anyone.

This is not about making a political statement or pushing an ideology.

It comes from something far more personal: the helplessness of knowing that someone he connected with through music may have been caught up in conflict, and the sincere hope that he is safe.

A sound that once traveled all the way from Venezuela to The Deity became a song and crossed borders, reaching places neither of them could have imagined when it first began.

The Deity is an "Alternative Expressionist" who transcends genre and conventional values, transforming music, visuals, words, and his very way of life into a form of expression. His journey officially began in September 2024, following an encounter with music producer Shinichiro Murayama. Everyday life, society, human conflict, love, life and death. Everything he has seen, felt, and experienced is confronted head-on and transformed into his work, with each release revealing a different genre, sound, and world. Every track released by The Deity has surpassed 1.5 million streams, while his audience continues to expand both in Japan and internationally, driven largely by YouTube. His work has resonated not only across Japan, but with listeners around the world. In 2025, The Deity temporarily stepped away from his activities while undergoing medical treatment, before making his return in April 2026. In July of the same year, he performed at MasterPeace 2026 in Okinawa, Japan, followed by ANIME MATSURI 2026 in Houston, USA, expanding his stage of expression from Japan to the world. What The Deity pursues is neither a specific genre nor a predetermined style. Rock, hip-hop, electronic, and beyond. He crosses those boundaries, choosing the sounds, words, and visuals each work demands, and bringing them together as one complete expression.
