A requiem by microM,
dedicated to his senior KYO-TA, who passed away ten years ago
deeply personal, yet also a piece of local history.
Memories that belonged to you:
driving a Jeep to recording sessions,
running through Nishikan on those nights.
The words you said Make it your job.
None of it is romanticized.
They are told plainly, as extensions of everyday life.
Ten years have passed since the news on February 3rd.
Those left behind are still not strong,
yet they keep telling themselves, I can't die yet,
and continue making music.
The awareness of being a survivor,
carrying on the legacy KYO-TA left behind.
Through this song, the present
life inside a city that has changed is delivered back to you.
This is proof that
Yamanashi hip-hop is still breathing.
